I agree with the premise that you need to read between the lines and look for the things that are left out but I can't agree with out and out lying when reporting things. I never get tired of watching Andy do Amazing Grace. Thanks for the mention :)
Absolutely agree. Ernest Hemingway supposedly once said, "The most essential gift for a good writer is a built-in, shockproof, shit detector." These days, a good reader needs one, too. I'm amazed how many people just blatantly lie in the guise of reporting something.
